What are these strange books that showed up on my front porch? OK I may be over exaggerating a bit, but you get the point. Phone books are old news. A lot of us just discard them right away. In Austin and Atlanta only 11% of folks requested a phone book when asked by AT&T.

Bought a Petzl headlamp to use for hunting and this thing is amazing. You charge it via USB and it has software which allows you to configure different modes with either regulated or unregulated power. Crazy you can configure a flashlight from a computer!

Watching a movie on TV and noticed what was supposed to be a California police car was actually SCHP. Looked it up and the movie was filmed in Columbia. I had no idea. Good film so far too. It’s called Death Sentence.

Late- A Short Film

For a film production class I’m taking, I was required to make a short film. This is really my first attempt at such a project. Overall I’m pretty happy with the results considering the time crunch I was under. Yes there are some things I don’t like and would do differently, but overall It’s not too bad for my first attempt. Everything was shot on the Nikon D7000 and GoPro HD Hero and edited in Final Cut Pro X (~~iMovie Pro~~). I really need to do some more of these. Enjoy…

A girl is doing a presentation in my consumer behavior class on the “digital artist” market segment. She says they like nick-con cameras and buy Macs because they come with Illustrator installed. She also says they buy from Apple in New York because there are no close Apple Stores. Umm… I don’t think she knows what she’s talking about! Wow! Oh and another student chimed Ian’s said the was very little difference between a 500 dollar camera and a 2000 dollar one. I had to correct her. Errr

Looks like I’m going to have some free time next semester!

Had a major sound malfunction at church today. The pulpit mic was picking up some kind of interference that was making farting noises. Luckily our paster joked about it and made it funny. Switched to the wireless face mic. Good thing they always wear the wireless just in case. I was trying to signal for her to switch mics but finally just had to yell from the booth lol.
